Naruriji ("the app") is a personal diary and event tracker. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
Data Stored on Your Device
All diary entries, events, photos, and contact groups are stored locally on your device in a private database. This data is never uploaded to any server and remains entirely under your control.
Contacts
The app requests access to your contacts solely to let you add participants to group events. Contact data is not stored on any server.
Photos
The app requests access to your photo library solely to let you attach photos to diary entries. Photos are stored locally on your device only.
AI Assistant
The AI assistant feature sends the text of relevant diary entries and events to a secure proxy server in order to generate responses. This data is processed by Google Gemini and is not stored, sold, or shared. No personally identifiable information beyond the content you explicitly ask about is transmitted.
Notifications
The app uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming events. No notification data leaves your device.
Third-Party Services
The AI assistant uses Google Gemini via a Supabase backend. Usage is rate-limited to 20 requests per day per device. No account or personal information is required.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.
Data Deletion
You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.
